
After it's inaugural launch in 2017, the Vanport Jazz Festival was looking for a way to build on it's brand and extend the reach of the event. Part of that effort was to create cohesive marketing package that stretched across physical and digital spaces, capturing the excitement and creativity inherent in jazz music, while also giving a nod to the festival's location in Portland, Oregon.
The festival, which honors the historic city of Vanport and pays homage to the voices that formed Portland's jazz community, serves as a cultural revival, welcoming nationally renowned artists and breathing new life into Portland jazz. The supporting marketing push included a social media campaign, posters strategically plastered around the city, t-shirts and festival merchandise, and a combination of print & digital ads.
